How to Grow Your Gospel Reach

- Be Empowered in Your Persistence

Be Proactive in Your Discipleship (Acts 18:24, 27-28)
- There was a little-known couple that helped get Apollos where he needed to be: Priscilla and Aquilla.
- Paul is being proactive in his discipleship (19:1-2)
- Aquila, Priscilla, and Paul had to be proactive in their discipleship by sharing with these Ephesians the full gospel story.
- In every instance up to this point in the book of Acts the word "disciple" is used for a genuine believer.
- "In Acts, this is the only case of a 2nd baptism, where Christian baptism follows John's baptism." (Bock)
- "These 12 would be the nucleus of the Ephesian church." (EBC)

Be Empowered in Your Persistence (Acts 19:9-10)

- "There would have been more people awake in Ephesus at 1:00 a.m. than there would have been at 1:00 p.m!"
- Paul was likely making tents in the morning and preaching in the afternoon!
