Truth#1: RESTORATION
Truth#1: RESTORATION
âAnd there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time.â
Daniel 12:1
"He will confirm a covenant with many for oneâ seven.â In the middle of the âsevenâ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.â
Daniel 12:27
Daniel 12:1
"He will confirm a covenant with many for oneâ seven.â In the middle of the âsevenâ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.â
Daniel 12:27
âSo when you see standing in the holy place âthe abomination that causes desolation,â spoken of through the prophet Daniel let the reader understand then let those who are in Judea flee to 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let no one on the housetop go down to take anything out of the house. 18 Let no one in the field go back to get their cloak. 19 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! 20 Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until nowâand never to be equaled again."
Matthew 25:15-21
Matthew 25:15-21
âDonât let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in Godâs temple, proclaiming himself to be God.â
2 Thessalonians 2:3
2 Thessalonians 2:3
âAnd from the time that the regular burnt offering is taken away and the abomination that makes desolate is set up, there shall be 1,290 days.â
Daniel 12:11
Daniel 12:11
âWhen you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near.â âThey will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.â Luke 21:20, 24

âAnd many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky above; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.â
Daniel 12:2-3
It is the only place in the Old Testament that uses the term âeverlasting lifeâ.

RESTORATION
RESURRECTION
Truth #3 READINESS
RESTORATION
RESURRECTION
Truth #3 READINESS
36 âBut concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only. 37 For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, 39 and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.40 Then two men will be in the field; one will be taken and one left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one left.42 Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. 43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into. 44 Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.â
Readiness points to the reality of relationship:
If youâre longing for the Lord to come, and this world is increasingly less and less your home, thatâs a good thing. It shows your heart for the Savior.
If youâre not longing for the Lord to come, and this world is increasingly more and more your home, thatâs not a good thing. It shows you donât really have a heart for the Savior.

Truth #4: REWARD
âAs for you, go your way till the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance.â
Daniel 12:13
âFor we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.â
2 Cor. 5:10
Daniel 12:13
âFor we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.â
2 Cor. 5:10
The judgment seat of Christ is for the believer. The Greek word for âjudgmentâ is bema, so sometimes you will hear the phrase âthe bema seatâ.
It is not a place of condemnation, but an evaluation. Yes, Jesus is going to evaluate your stewardship of what He entrusted to you, and you will be rewarded.
So, in Godâs providence, how you steward your life matters.
